Charlie the Chukar was up for Mascot Champion in #MascotMania, but he unfortunately lost to the Great Falls Voyagers’ mascot, Orbit.

The Chukars have .500 record (19 W – 19 L) and are 2 games behind in the team race for 1st place, with the Grand Junction Rockies currently in first place of Pioneer League South.

2013 First round draft pick Hunter Dozier played in all of the first 38 games. He leads the team in RBI’s, with a slugging percentage of .488 and 5 home runs. He has also been walked 25 times. More than anyone else on the team.

Star pitcher Patrick Conroy has started 8 games, has 4 Wins, and 0 losses with a “best-in-the-league” ERA of just 2.25. Batters fear him as he has already struck out 39 this season.

When you come out to Melaleuca Field you are sure to see lots of hits. Leading both the north and south leagues in both total At Bats and Hits, the Chukars know how to put the ball in play!
